Hole 1 – Par 4

The first hole, a downhill par 4 dogleg right, requires a well placed drive to a level landing area. Long hitters can reach the lake. Out of bounds on the right side will come into play if you try to cut the corner too close. From there, a medium iron to a large green can yield a good start to the front nine.

Players Note: Check pin positions on 9, 8, and 3 greens.

Yardage: Blue/456, White/427, Gold/403, Red/370; Handicap: Men/6, Ladies/4
Hole Sponsor:
Counts Realty & Auction Group

Hole 2 – Par 3

The second hole is a medium length par 3 that requires a shot that is all carry over water. The green is wide and tilts back to front. Shots over the green make a very hard up and down. Putts downhill are fast.

Yardage: Blue/198, White/163, Gold/135, Red/113; Handicap: Men/10, Ladies/16

Hole 3 – Par 4

The third hole is a short par 4. A good tee shot to the plateau is a good play. There is out of bounds on the right side, and a pond is hidden from the tee on the left side at the willow tree. A large green provides a big target, but check the pin for your approach shot.

Yardage: Blue/362, White/337, Gold/306, Red/271; Handicap: Men/18, Ladies/12
Hole Sponsor: Robertson Auto Sales

Hole 4 – Par 5

The fourth hole is a par 5 that can be reached in two by long hitters. Out of bounds is close to the cart path on the right side as well as behind the green. The long waste area on the left is 20 yards from the green and must be carried if you go for the green in two.

Yardage: Blue/508, White/461, Gold/441, Red/341; Handicap: Men/16, Ladies/10
Hole Sponsor: Robertson Realty

Hole 5 – Par 4

The fifth hole is a downhill par 4 with out of bounds down the right side. Tee shots will feed left for a good approach to a large green that is difficult to read. A shot over the green will require a good chip to save par.

Yardage: Blue/401, White/373, Gold/343, Red/311; Handicap: Men/14, Ladies/8

Hole 6 – Par 4

The sixth hole is an uphill par 4 with out of bounds down the right side and a lateral water hazard on the left. A good tee shot toward the right side of the fairway will feed to the center. A trap lurks behind the mound on the right of the fairway. The two-tiered green makes this hole a tough par.

Yardage: Blue/395, White/380, Gold/287, Red/246; Handicap: Men/8, Ladies/14
Hole Sponsor: Select Bank

Hole 7 – Par 3

The seventh hole is a medium length par 3. Be sure to check the wind before you select a club. What appears to be a crosswind may be in the players face at the green. A shot over the green is a difficult up and down.

Yardage: Blue/178, White/140, Gold/113, Red/90; Handicap: Men/12, Ladies/18

Hole 8 – Par 5

The eighth hole is a long par 5 with a narrow landing area for tee shots from all tees. A lateral hazard runs the entire length of the hole. Two ponds beside the green await stray shots for the players who try to hit the green in two. The green is long and narrow.

Yardage: Blue/596, White/561, Gold/481, Red/449; Handicap: Men/2, Ladies/2
Hole Sponsor: London Downs Golf Club

Hole 9 – Par 4

The par 4 ninth hole plays longer than the yardage indicates. The tee shot hit to the right side of the fairway will feed to the center. The green is large and undulating. A back pin will require one to three clubs more, especially if the wind is in the players face.

Players Note: Check the pin on #1 Tee.

Yardage: Blue/384, White/364, Gold/303, Red/276; Handicap: Men/4, Ladies/6
Hole Sponsor: Campbell Insurance

Hole 10 – Par 4

The tenth hole, a downhill par 4 dogleg right, requires a well-placed drive to a level landing area short of the pond. From there, a medium iron to a large green can yield a good start. Long hitters can try going over the trees.

Players note: check pin position on #11 green.

Yardage: Blue/402, White/365, Gold/313, Red/275; Handicap: Men/7, Ladies/11
Hole Sponsor: Gentry Commercial Real Estate

Hole 11 – Par 5

The eleventh hole is a dogleg par 5 that can be reached in two by long hitters. A small pond short of the fairway will present a problem to short hitters. Out of bounds runs down the right side fence line and on the left side defined by stakes. The green is long and narrow, protected by a trap on the left and two traps on the right front. Over or to the right is trouble.

Yardage: Blue/506, White/483, Gold/457, Red/420; Handicap: Men/11, Ladies/3
Hole Sponsor: Benjamin’s

Hole 12 – Par 3

The twelfth hole is a long par 3 to a large Donald Ross-style green. A shot landing on the sides of the green will roll off the green. The hole plays slightly uphill, and a good target is to hit a field goal between the trees behind the green. Out of bounds to the right side is defined with white stakes.

Yardage: Blue/191, White/168, Gold/150, Red/126; Handicap: Men/9, Ladies/13
Hole Sponsor: Water Dog

Hole 13 – Par 4

The par 4 thirteenth hole requires a good tee shot between the traps. Out of bounds down the left side is closer than it looks, and out of bounds on the right side is defined by the white fence. The approach shot is downhill, so be careful with club selection. Anything over the green will be in a lateral hazard.

Players note: check pin position on #17.

Yardage: Blue/391, White/330, Gold/268, Red/227; Handicap: Men/13, Ladies/15
Hole Sponsor: Owen’s Market

Hole 14 – Par 5

The fourteenth hole is a long three-shot par 5. A drive over the left corner of the dogleg must carry the trees. Out of bounds runs down the left side, and a lateral water hazard guards the right side. The second shot down the middle to the plateau will leave a wedge to a two-level green. Over the green can be trouble.

Players note: Check pin position on #16 green.

Yardage: Blue/574, White/548, Gold/502, Red/458; Handicap: Men/3, Ladies/1
Hole Sponsor: Bald Guy & Associates

Hole 15 – Par 3

The fifteenth hole is a par 3 to an island green. The green is wide, but narrow from front to back. Downhill putts can be speedy, and uphill putts are into the grain. Pin on the right side is a half club longer. Club selection can be a problem when the wind is blowing towards the tee. On your way to the green you will see our memorial plaque, a remembrance to our senior members who have passed.

Yardage: Blue/163, White/135, Gold/120, Red/95; Handicap: Men/17, Ladies/17
Hole Sponsors: Gates Flag & BannerNew London Trailers

Hole 16 – Par 4

The sixteenth hole is a long par 4. A good tee shot down the middle will leave a mid to long iron second shot to the uphill green. Out of bounds runs along the left side fence line. Traps on both sides of the fairway add to the difficulty of this hole. The two-tiered green is long and narrow, with a false front guarded by traps on the left side and the right front.

Yardage: Blue/428, White/392, Gold/357, Red/316; Handicap: Men/1, Ladies/5
Hole Sponsor: New London Steakhouse

Hole 17 – Par 4

The seventeenth hole is a slight dogleg left par 4. The tee shot down the middle will leave a short iron to a long narrow green. The trap on the left of the green catches a lot of shots. Out of bounds is close behind the green for shots too long.

Yardage: Blue/382, White/357, Gold/324, Red/287; Handicap: Men/15, Ladies/9
Hole Sponsor: Mabry Automotive

Hole 18 – Par 4

The par 4 eighteenth hole is a long dogleg right with out of bounds down the right and behind the green. A good tee shot to the center of the fairway will leave a mid-iron to large green. Any approach shot to the right of the green will require a good up and down shot. Long hitters might try to cut the corner.

Yardage: Blue/423, White/396, Gold/347, Red/294; Handicap: Men/5, Ladies/7
